This was pretty much the Volvo XC90 Snow Trial recipe, an unconventional marketing two-months event that Free Event conceived, produced and organized for VOLVO. For the automotive brand, Free Event designed and developed two igloo-shaped dome to be positioned in the popular destinations of Sestola and Cervinia, just at the end of the best ski slopes.
Inside, the beautiful VOLVO XC90, who tourists and ski-lovers could check out, also programming a test drive on the snow. This allowed to introduce the car to a potentially interested target but also to create a wide network of contacts.
Original and fascinating, especially when illuminated at night, the two installations were positioned on the slopes for two months, thus achieving a great marketing result in terms of audience: basically, they were the perfect unconventional tool to carry out a targeted and successful promotional campaign.
